A sobriety checkpoint will coincide with the upcoming Fourth of July holiday.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Montgomery County combined Agency OVI Task Force will conduct the sobriety checkpoint along with patrols to identify and remove impaired drivers from roadways to prevent injury and fatal traffic crashes, the task force stated in a release.
The time, date and location will be announced later, in accordance with state law that requires advance notice.
